Jin returns Tom Kim’s fountain pen to him, and they start to get close. Later, Gil Yong, who finds out about him, becomes heartbroken. He also drops out of high school and decides to take the path less travelled. Meanwhile, the old landlady stops by in hopes of finding her son a wife and enjoys a bowl of noodles chosen by Jin.
